These terms explain how the Dark Trooper Recordings website and the optional Media Usage Auditor Google Drive connection may be used.
The Google Drive connection is an administrator feature that allows protected Recovery copies created by Media Usage Auditor to be stored away from the web server. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal data and Google user data are handled.

You may use the website and its services only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, or use the services in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
Separate commercial terms may apply to purchases, bookings, education, production, mixdown or other paid services.
Media Usage Auditor (MUA) is a WordPress administration tool used to inspect, optimise, consolidate, recover and manage media on this website.
Its Google Drive connection is optional and is used only when an authorised site administrator chooses to archive Recovery copies away from the web server.
When Google Drive is connected, MUA requests the Google Drive drive.file permission. This allows MUA to create and manage files that it creates or that are explicitly made available to it.
MUA is not intended to browse or manage unrelated files in your Google Drive. You can revoke the connection through your Google Account at any time.
Recovery copies exist to help reverse media changes made through MUA. When an administrator chooses off-site archiving, a Recovery file may be uploaded to Google Drive and the local Recovery copy may then be removed from the web server after MUA has verified the remote copy.
MUA Recovery is an additional recovery mechanism and is not a substitute for a complete website, database or server backup.
You retain ownership of media and files that belong to you. Connecting Google Drive does not transfer ownership of those files to Dark Trooper Recordings.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to store, process, optimise, archive or restore media placed on the website.
The website may rely on third-party services including Google Drive, payment providers, fulfilment services, hosting providers and WordPress services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
Google Drive is provided by Google and remains subject to Google’s own terms and service availability.
We aim to keep the website and MUA functions available, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Features may be updated, suspended or removed where needed for maintenance, security, compatibility or legal reasons.
Some MUA actions can permanently delete Recovery files. Permanent deletion is intentionally separated from normal cleanup and is presented as an irreversible action.
Administrators should verify the site, keep suitable backups and, where appropriate, export or archive files before permanent deletion.
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect the website and connected services. You are responsible for protecting your WordPress and Google account credentials and for limiting administrator access to trusted users.
No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Subject to those rights, Dark Trooper Recordings is not responsible for losses caused by misuse, unauthorised changes, third-party service outages, or failure to maintain appropriate backups where those matters are outside our reasonable control.
You may stop using the Google Drive connection at any time by disconnecting it in MUA or revoking access in your Google Account.
Files already archived to Google Drive may remain there until they are restored, permanently deleted through MUA, or removed directly from Google Drive.
We may update these terms when the website, MUA, connected services or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page shows when this version was last updated.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you under the law of your country of residence. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
