Media Usage Auditor is a WordPress administration tool used by Dark Trooper Recordings to identify where media files are used, manage duplicates and unused media, optimise images and maintain recoverable copies of media changes.

Media Usage Auditor helps authorised WordPress administrators understand and manage the media used across the Dark Trooper Recordings website.
It can scan pages, templates and media references, identify duplicate or unused files, help optimise images, and create Recovery records so changes can be reviewed and, where supported, restored.

Media Usage Auditor can optionally connect to Google Drive so an authorised administrator can store MUA Recovery files away from the web server.
The connection is used for Media Usage Auditor Recovery storage, verification and restoration. It is not intended to act as a general Google Drive browser.
The Google Drive integration uses the drive.file permission. This allows Media Usage Auditor to create and manage files that it creates, or files that are explicitly made available to it.
Media Usage Auditor is not designed to browse, read or analyse unrelated files elsewhere in the user’s Google Drive.
Google Drive data is used only for Media Usage Auditor Recovery functions, including uploading Recovery files, verifying that a Recovery copy exists, downloading a file when a restore is requested, and deleting a Recovery file when an authorised administrator chooses to remove it.
Google user data is not sold or used for advertising, marketing profiles or unrelated purposes.
An authorised administrator can disconnect Google Drive from Media Usage Auditor at any time. Access can also be revoked from the connected Google Account.
Revoking access prevents Media Usage Auditor from accessing Recovery files stored in Google Drive until access is authorised again.
